Collage is about the power to be free from any limitation to create new work on the edge of imagination. No wonder HOK will pledge her contribution to the World Collage Day on May 14.
World Collage Day is an annual, international celebration of collage on the Second Saturday of May. It’s about artists connecting across borders against a global context of entrenchment and separation.
This weekend (14-15 May) HOK celebrates World Collage Day with an omnium gatherum of artists who push the boundaries of collage as a medium. Feast your eyes on collage sculptures, against-the-grain mixed media works, even a fully functioning collage pull-puppet…
With works by:
Woody van Amen
Martha Colburn
Lula Valletta
Hester Scheurwater
Dr. Niehoff
Leonor Faber-Jonker
Marjolijn van der Meij
The exhibition is quick and dirty and curated by HOK’s in-house collage maniacs Leonor Faber-Jonker and Lula Valletta.
